Next year, Serbia and Cape Verde will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. In addition to bilateral cooperation, mutual support and collaboration at the multilateral level have also contributed to the friendly relations between the two countries.

Through the "World in Serbia" program, students from Cape Verde have the opportunity to study at universities in Serbia.

There is strong potential to further enhance cooperation in the fields of tourism, agriculture, culture, and sports.

During her stay, Ambassador Ilić also met with the Head of the EU Delegation to Cape Verde, Ambassador Carla Grijó, as well as the UN Resident Coordinator in Cape Verde, Patricia Portela de Souza.
