Meeting with the Mayor of Porto

The discussion focused on topics of mutual interest and explored opportunities to strengthen economic and friendly ties between Serbia and Portugal.

The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Porto, Mr. Mario Fontemanha.

Mr. Moreira has served as Mayor of Porto since 2013 and is currently in his third consecutive term.

Porto, Portugal’s second-largest city, is known for its strong industrial base and has experienced growth in technology, innovation, and tourism. Culturally, it is renowned for its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Since November 2023, Serbia has been connected to Porto via direct flights operated by its national airline, Air Serbia.
