Serbian Ambassador Joins UN Meeting to Strengthen Cooperation in Cape Verde

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Portugal, Ana Ilić, participated in a high-level meeting with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Cape Verde, Patricia Portela de Souza. The meeting aimed to intensify dialogue and foster closer cooperation between the United Nations and its development partners in Cape Verde.
During the session, Coordinator Portela de Souza presented the key achievements of the UN System in Cape Verde and outlined the strategic priorities for the 2023–2027 period.
These priorities are framed within the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, which is fully aligned with Cape Verde’s Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development and the African Union’s Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to sustainable development and enhanced multilateral cooperation in the region.
