Military Parade on the Occasion of Portugal Day

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Portugal, Ana Ilić, had the honour of attending the military parade, which was organized in Lagos on the occasion of Portugal Day.
The ceremony was led by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, General José Nunes da Fonseca.
Portugal Day is celebrated annually on June 10th in honour of the Portuguese poet and national literary hero, Luís de Camões, who died on this day in 1580.
